Fundador y socio de GA, Tomás obtuvo el premio al Mejor Proyecto de Título, con el cual recibió el primer lugar en “Concurso Nacional de Proyectos de Título en la XVI Bienal de Arquitectura de Santiago de Chile” el año 2008 y el primer lugar en el “The World’s Best Graduation Projects” otorgado por Archiprix Internacional el año 2009. El año 2010 participó como jurado en la XVII Bienal de Arquitectura de Santiago de Chile y el año 2013 como jurado en Archiprix Chile. La inquietud por otras disciplinas del arte le han permitido enriquecer su labor profesional y docente. Desde el año 2008 Tomás hace clases en la Facultad de Arquitectura de la Universidad del Desarrollo de Santiago, y actualmente también es docente en la Universidad Andrés Bello, Universidad de Talca y Universidad San Sebastián. El año 2015 obtuvo la Beca “Study Scholarship for Foreign Graduates in the Field of Architecture”, otorgada por el Servicio Alemán de Intercambio Académico (DAAD), la cual desarrolló durante dos años en Berlín, Alemania, ciudad en la cual colaboró el año 2017 en el estudio Tomás Saraceno. Entre los años 2019 y 2020 cursó el Máster en Arquitectura Avanzada en el Instituto de Arquitectura Avanzada de Cataluña (IAAC) en Barcelona, ​​donde recibió el premio “Self Sufficient Buildings” con el proyecto “70% WATER”.  

Founder and partner of GA, Tomás received the award for best Bachelor’s degree thesis of his year. His thesis paper also helped him win first place in the competition “National Degree Project at the 16th Architecture Biennale” in Santiago, Chile, in 2008 and first place in “The World’s Best Graduation Projects” presented by Archiprix International in 2009. In 2010 he was invited to be a judge at the 17th Santiago Biennale of Architecture and in 2013 to be a judge at the Archiprix Chile. His interests in other disciplines of the arts have allowed him to delve further into his teaching and professional work. He taught at the Department of Architecture in the Universidad del Desarrollo in Santiago, Chile, from 2008 to 2015. In 2015 he obtained a “Study Scholarship for Foreign Graduates in the Field of Architecture”,  granted by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), which he worked on in Berlin, Germany, for two years. In 2017 he collaborated with the firm Tomás Saraceno in Berlin.
